Challenge
Many car owners struggle with irregular or low-quality cleaning services and no accountability. Car-O aimed to streamline the car cleaning experience — letting users schedule professional cleaning at their doorstep while staying fully informed throughout the process.
Ways of working
I led the end-to-end product design of a multi-platform system involving the user-facing Car-O app, the Cleaner app for staff, and the admin portal (Caro Bar). The goal was to ensure each interface worked harmoniously, creating a frictionless experience from booking to execution.

Designing a coordinated system for users, cleaners, and admin operations.
Research & Planning
I conducted interviews with car owners and cleaners in gated societies to map expectations, bottlenecks, and daily workflows. These insights helped define separate use cases and flows for each user group — customers, cleaners, and admins.
Design & Prototyping
The Car-O app was designed to make subscription and service booking effortless. I created distinct flows for purchasing plans, providing car/parking info, and viewing service logs. Meanwhile, the Cleaner app focused on task clarity, proof upload (before/after), and daily planning. The admin portal was structured for approvals, support, and real-time task assignment.
Development & Implementation
I collaborated closely with developers, ensuring design handoffs were component-based and aligned with backend logic. Every screen across the three platforms was optimized for real-world responsiveness and data tracking.

Car-O App (User)
Users can subscribe to cleaning plans, choose time slots, and add multiple cars or locations. The app sends updates and shows before/after photos post-cleaning for transparency.
Cleaner App
Cleaners receive daily tasks based on user availability. They mark tasks as completed with timestamped images to keep both user and admin informed.
Caro Bar (Admin Portal)
Handles all backend operations — subscription creation, task approvals, order assignments, customer support, and cleaner management — ensuring everything runs smoothly.
