Project description
Medic.Ai is an all-in-one healthcare app designed to simplify how users access medical support — from symptom checking to doctor consultations, medicine ordering, ambulance booking, and lab test scheduling. The app uses an AI assistant to provide a first layer of consultation, followed by doctor discovery and in-app communication, giving users the ability to manage their health confidently from home.
Challenge
Accessing timely medical care can be overwhelming — from self-diagnosing symptoms and finding trusted doctors to booking appointments, ordering medicines, or securing an ambulance. Users are often forced to juggle multiple apps, calls, or platforms. The challenge was to unify this fragmented experience into one simple, intelligent platform.
Ways of working
As the sole Product Designer, I handled the end-to-end design process — from user research and journey mapping to wireframing, UI design, and interactive prototyping. I used Figma for design and Notion to organize research and task flows, and collaborated closely with a developer to validate feasibility.

Research & Planning
I conducted user interviews across different age groups to understand their healthcare behaviors, frustrations, and expectations. Patterns revealed major friction points: delayed appointments, lack of transparency in doctor availability, and difficulty navigating emergency situations. I mapped personas and user journeys around urgency, trust, and accessibility.
Design & Prototyping
With the research in place, I crafted user flows for AI symptom input, doctor search, appointment booking, chat/call consultations, and emergency service access. The UI was kept clean and minimal, emphasizing calm tones and readability — critical for a space where users are already stressed. I used Figma to design and prototype the full experience, including key microinteractions.
